  • I was visiting in the late afternoon in may, was a somewhat sunny whether go spicy, but directly in front of the Manhattan view stretches as great place to prospect in too. Brooklyn is one great place especially for those travelling on a bicycle after the recommendation. A lot of people and I'm a pretty big Park not as right. This night or sunset look more catchy, I guess.

  • See all of Manhattan from the Brooklyn shore. A very good spot. Then walk in Brooklyn or back to Manhattan across the Brooklyn Bridge on foot. A must-do.

  • Nice walk along the east river. Morning sun with no shade made it warm. Flat and well maintained. Views of Brooklyn, Williamsburg bridge.  more »

  • I was reluctant to do a "tourist" thing. Yet once we got out on the water, the perspective was so unique I gained new insights only available from that floating vantage point. For me, it was the return. We saw what those early European immigrants saw. The Statue of Liberty coming in to view. Growing ever larger and wonderful. It took my cynical breath away. Think what it must have done for them. No wonder their patriotism was so strong.
  • It has a great view of the East River and Brooklyn. The view of the Williamsburg bridge is great too. A great place to run/walk or walk your dog. It’s also very windy here too. Hope this helps!
  • It would be a nice park.( I like to go for a bike ride there). But it gets crowded and during summer a lot of loud people spend time in the park. I Would prefer it to be more peaceful place. Forget about relaxing in the park during summer. Music blasting from boom boxes, smell of BBQ and pot all over. Don't forget about alcohol. Lol you can smell that too.
  • This is an original park by the water. North and South are modem docks and scenic outlooks, but this little nub has been here for at least a hundred years - the original ferry dock before the Williamsburg bridge existed according to a plaque in green patina. Plus you can go right down into the water if you choose. Amazing views and touch of history, enjoy
  • Nice park love walking the dogs here riding my bike in the summer and also a great place to throw a BBQ when the weathers nice
