  • In Manhattan but still there outside. The path runs along the hudson and is best green for New York. There are parks and benches and is ideal for a piece of hard to run.

  • Great place to go for a relaxing walk and watch the world go by. Great views of the Hudson river on one side.  more »
  • It was very cold to venture out but this walk kept us warm and had spectacular views. We started walking from the World Trade Centre and walked the whole distance until it met the High Line at 14th. T...  more »

  • Reconstruction of this park started decades ago and only now at the end we can say what a remarkable peace of human geniality. So glad to see all East coast of Manhattan looking so lovely. Can't wait to see complete renovation so that we can all enjoy in it.
  • very nice view. it is by the river you can see NJ from this park. If you do not have time to go to sea beach , I will recommend you to go to this park . You won't find any difference. Even this park it better than a sea beach.
  • This park is amazing and only gets better as they add more services and open space. Plenty of seating and pedestrian walkways. Only problem is the bike riders can get aggressive when trying to walk.
  • Best outdoor park in NYC. Best in the summer. It's a bummer that it's not more friendly for dogs. But if you run, bike, or just like lounging around this place is for you
  • Beautiful scenery the drive can be stressful but when you drive through here it seems like God blew you a kiss and your stress just we seems to diminish for a few. In the summer time you see people frolicking about riding bikes, skating, jogging, taking walks and enjoying the view.

Where to stay in New York City

The first step to finding accommodations in New York City is finding the right neighborhood. Manhattan, where most visitors end up, offers some of the most expensive rooms in the world, though there are lower-budget options, such as hostels with shared restrooms. Reduce your costs by basing yourself in one of the outer boroughs, but beware of low-end motels where you may end up sharing the premises with hourly customers. Alternatively, stay along the New Jersey shore, offering all the major chain hotels at considerably lower prices than their Manhattan equivalents.
