  • It is only if you are passing through the area, is not a must but like fairs and markets to us and we know several on each trip. It runs fast.

  • Here I had expected more ... but it was definitely a setback. Really only a piece or 15 stalls and also not even worth it. I walked there in 5 minutes along and that was it. As far as I am concerned, you can skip this.

  • Is a fair that is an once per week, them Saturday. It is fun to go, things are nice to buy, food, music. It is worth going if you already did the entire basic tourist in NY.

  • I love the Hot Pastrami there... the pastrami is juicy n soooo tender ! Can't forget that Hot Pastrami ! THe best food ever in Hester Street Fair !
  • Some cool vendors but not many. A little too low key and not great music played.
  • A small hangaround with some food stalls and groovy music.
  • I used this locale to sit and eat a shitload of donuts. Did not disappoint. There were also apparently some samples of random things, too. Cool.
  • Who doesn't like a street fair? Located conveniently in the heart of Lower East Side on Essex and Hester. Local vendors gather here every Saturday. Whenever I'm not sure what to have for lunch on a Saturday I always find myself here, sampling a bunch of food from a variety of choices.
