  • The statue representing the writer and poet lies on the East face of the Central Park, next to The Conservatory Water, at the height of the 74th St. Who like hiking can descend on 5 Av/59 St. Station of the subway and walk through the Center Drive where the statue of General Jose de San Martin to reach the statue. There is also possibility to use the entrance to 72nd Street and walk across the East Drive.

  • Here we had to have help from the information in the southern part of Central Park to find our world famous Danish writer Hans Christian Andersen. He has a distinguished place in the Park, and we was informed from the friendly information, that for many years every Saturday during the summer to read adventure by the statue. Thank you for the information of the beautiful words about the author.

  • In honor made of Hans Christian Andersen a Danish fairytale writer who made the Little Mermaid in the 19th Century.
  • One more relaxed lovely corner of the park. With a view to the lake and the city behind it. Wonderful sculpture which designed in detail. Just to sit back and relax for few minutes.
