  • Market long, a lot of fresh products and shifted to New York but the prices are crazy... $4 the wand... $6 the Cavaillon melon...

  • The market is awash with vibrant colors and smells. The spice vendor and the chocolatier are my favorites, but the farm to table selection is also amazing. A fun walk through or great place to shop.  more »
  • A small market with a lot of choice of food products. It is located at the central level of the station.

  • Simply LOVE this hidden gem under the Grand Central Terminal. I appreciate all the fresh meats, cheeses, fishes, herbs, spices, and teas... you simply cannot go wrong here. Additionally, they have a flower and bread shop. Don't forget that they also have seats and dining areas outside of the market, so get your eats and take a break. This was the perfect place we came back to time after time while visiting NYC.
  • Sure, the merchants bring all the marvellous food, but they also bring their enthusiasm and culture, traits that New York, in all its aspects, is known for. These people love the food just as much as the customers, and it shows. My eyes lock-on to a freshly baked pretzel, and as I order the soft and salty creation, the server offers to warm it for me. Not wanting to trouble her with a line growing behind me, I decline, but she’ll have none of that… “It’s soooo much better warm, honey…” she insists, so I relent to her better baked goods judgement, and how right she is. It’s this simple passion for the food to be enjoyed that makes the Grand Central Market a must-do for any foodie worth their salt.
  • Gourmet, gourmet, gourmet. Cheeses, bakery, deli, produce and chocolate. If you want the best, and even quick take out meals to heat at home go there. My personal favorite is the almond horns at zaro's
  • Specialty shops. Variety. Convenience
  • The market is very cool and sits under grand central terminal. The place is very clean and nice however I couldn't agree to some of the pricing. For example $9 for grapefruit juice is very high.
