  • Near Rockefeller Center you can visit a small shop dedicated to the Fire Department of New York. There are souvenirs, you can try on uniforms and sit in the "fire truck." If you're with children, it is interesting, but not worth going here.

  • A helpful and fascinating guided visit which helps understand the important job of fire workers, enriched by videos and simulation of an escape from fire. Worth the money you pay and a small shop insi...  more »
  • Staff are so friendly and helpful. Had loads of FDNY merchandise and prices are reasonable too. Highly recommended!

  • Tiny education center. Worthwhile visiting. Especially with kids. They have a nice multi media center where they educate children with fire safety. My kids loved it. My smallest was afraid of fire and alarms. Now she has overcome her fear by the story of the retired firefighter who explained the importance of the fire alarms. She also has the feeling that she knows what to do in case of fire.
  • My 2 1/2 year old kids loved it in here playing on the fire truck. Lots of adults having fun too trying on the fire gear. Really friendly staff too. A great place to let the kids let off some steam.
