  • A real bonus in a Little Italy that now has very little Italian. Di Palo's since 1925 offering our food Italian to New Yorkers, expat Chinese, Italian and so on and so forth, nor did:) Lots of meats and cheeses and fresh dairy products made directly from them! Very busy remember to take the number just entered, only flaw is that saw the crowd should be faster service! The prices are fair, though you're not in Italy and are excellent products imported. Highly recommended if you want to pull from the food in New York

  • The wine shop looks more like a wine gallery than a wine store with the bottles displayed in a friendly and approachable way.
  • They have a Great Selection of Fine Italian Wines. If you have a question about wine ask Sam he is the man.
  • Excellent selection including many small producers.
  • Friendly and informative, stellar Italian wine selection

Where to stay in New York City

The first step to finding accommodations in New York City is finding the right neighborhood. Manhattan, where most visitors end up, offers some of the most expensive rooms in the world, though there are lower-budget options, such as hostels with shared restrooms. Reduce your costs by basing yourself in one of the outer boroughs, but beware of low-end motels where you may end up sharing the premises with hourly customers. Alternatively, stay along the New Jersey shore, offering all the major chain hotels at considerably lower prices than their Manhattan equivalents.
