It's fun to visit this store. If this candy exists, it will be Dylan completo Candy Bar. Chuches them they are hipercaras, but there are jelly beans that you don't know and spend a fun time choosing them. The staff is very nice in general, but they are much above yours. Shop are two floors and the third is a cafe-restaurant that has tables in the form of cupcakes and where you can eat or have a few cocktails or hilarious milkshakes.

If you go to New York with teenage boys can't help getting in, although it is nice to be casual, colorful and cute, but as for the shop of Eminem's definitely overpriced

My family and I went to visit this place during our trip to NYC. There were tons of different types of candies and sweets to choose from, but the highlight of this place is the ice cream bar upstairs!...  more »

This store is like walking inside a game of Candy Crush. It has a friendly staff and the line moves fast. The vintage candy is on the bottom level and definitely worth looking at. They also have vintage commercials playing down there. It's also fun to see the boxes of candy the celebrities picked out. The bulk candy is organized by color. I would choose his place over M&M World.

This place was recommended to me be friends. It is certainly a huge candy shop. My only complaint was that it seemed dirty. Beyond that, this store has almost every candy you can imagine either wrapped or in bulk. Definitely worth a stop and person. The top floor is a restaurant which I did not eat at. I did however have the popping Cherry Coke float and it was delicious and fill of pop rocks.

Dylan's is a fun place to go regardless of your desire to buy candy, even though you'll probably walk out of the place with candy regardless of that desire. Very colorful and nice to wander with little candy-like trinkets everywhere including a case filled with celebrity candy choices (I don't know who Adam Brody is, but be certain that I won't watch anything that has that Good 'N Plenty loving actor in it now. JK!...maybe). Store's a little crowded, with the top floor being a bit of a pain to walk around, but overall the place is a fun and quick visit if you're in the area.

If you have kids (or are just generally captivated with all things sugary) then you've got to come by here. Three stories of everything you can imagine. Weird candy, old school retro flavors that'll make you remember being 8 and discovering new ones in your Halloween bag, and just a really fun vibe. Plus, proceeds go to help animal care charities. Good stuff!

There's a wonderful selection of new and vintage candies. My favorite is the old fashioned rock candy in a rainbow of colors. There's also an amazing assortment of chocolates. I was shopping for pink and gold Hershey's kisses to decorate my goddaughter's bridal shower, and Dylan's is the only place I found pink kisses that didn't say "it's a girl".

Where to stay in New York City

The first step to finding accommodations in New York City is finding the right neighborhood. Manhattan, where most visitors end up, offers some of the most expensive rooms in the world, though there are lower-budget options, such as hostels with shared restrooms. Reduce your costs by basing yourself in one of the outer boroughs, but beware of low-end motels where you may end up sharing the premises with hourly customers. Alternatively, stay along the New Jersey shore, offering all the major chain hotels at considerably lower prices than their Manhattan equivalents.
