  • Thus is a beautiful park that is adjacent to the river board walk (great). This is also where the mayor is living. This is a great place to go to on a sunny day!
  • A nice little getaway on the upper east side. Well maintained, pretty gardens, two nice dog parks (one for big and one for small). Feels safe and I have seen police drive through the area to keep an eye on things. Really nice view of Roosevelt island and the east river!
  • I love this park. Very discreet by the water. 2 playgrounds for dogs (small and big). And a big basketball court. This is a very nice and quiet spot to run or workout after a work day. The Gracie's Mansion is a beautiful house in the middle of the park. A lot of greens, flowers and colors. The park is very well maintained by a volunteer neighborhood. Squirrels are very friendly. They come to you to check if you have some nuts for them.
  • The Easter egg hunt was fun. Great view of the water. Cold in the morning. Bathrooms are pretty good compared to other public park bathrooms.
  • Model of community supported park. Neighbors honor different needs of various publics I.e. quiet seeking, dog spaces, cat spaces, sports, films, Holiday gatherings, weddings
  • Growing up, this was the park I visited the most. They upgraded it about 20 years ago and my kids still go there. Sprinklers are on during the hot summer days. Great for kids up to about teens.
