Enjoy almost 4 hectares (10 acres) of greenspace nestled in the heart of Manhattan at Bryant Park. Adjacent to the New York City Public Library, the park's expansive lawn, decorated with monumental sculptures and stately fountains, provides a place to sit and escape the bustling city. Feel like a kid again with a ride on the Heritage Carousel, or test your luck with a game of chess against a local. Stop by the Reading Room, the park's open-air library, to browse through a book or a copy of the local newspaper. • We saw this park multiple times since we changed subways nearby. It's a happening place. Right by the gorgeous NY Public Library. Love all the wonderful parks in NYC.
  • Great area to walk around with friends and you partner. Currently a lot of construction around the park , but is still worth every moment.
  • Bryant Park is for Europeans, what a city park is - but New York does it better - with ample tables, chairs, coffee stores, games and better than that - faultless wifi ! It's outdoor living with indoo...  read more »
  • Enjoyed this park both during summer (very cute french carousel) and winter (village set up with shops, ice skating etc). For ice skating we tried once with a 4 hour wait, decided to come back 1st thing the next morning and only waited a few minutes. Of course it's beautiful all lit up but with kids, the evening wait would be nearly impossible. Morning was just as festive :) note: you can bring your own skates to save on rentals.
  • Great oasis in the middle of the city. Nearby cafes are useful to take to a table in the park. Check out the library and free events. Seasonal setups are either wonderful or annoying depending on your view. Calm place to sit down.
  • PokemonGo fans rejoice in this treasure trove of gaming enjoyment! My girlfriend and I visited around 9pm on. Tuesday and it was pretty populated but well worth the visit. They start to put away the chairs at 9pm but there are plenty of places to sit. Worth a visit!
  • Did Yoga in the Park with Athleta and it was great. Vinyasa yoga is a wonderful way to get your blood flowing, (re)energize yourself and help you clear your mind. They provide you with a clean yoga mat if you don't have one and it's open to all ages. Also, Bryant park was a good place to have it. I will be attending again!
  • Very busy place, but so unique! The massive trees and open tables with umbrellas provide a nice reprieve from the summer heat. Time your visit right and you might be able to see Broadway in the Park or other interesting attractions.
