  • I wish they didn't close the bath house so early - at 5:45 - but otherwise I really love this place, and have since I was a little boy. A small concession stand serves up hot dogs and fries and some ice cream, and there are changing rooms, toilets, and token-operated showers. The beach is a long swoop of soft white sand, mild surf, and no undertoad. Perfect for the kids.
  • Lovely, uncrowded beach the days we were there midweek. The water is crystal clear & the sand is soft. There are chairs & umbrellas available for rental. Paid showers are also available. It cost $2/token which gives you 4 minutes to rinse off. The confession stand serves for prepared by Rebecca's & our food was delicious & freshly made. I had a cheeseburger with lettuce tomato and pickles. It was a delightful surprise.
  • One of the most beautiful beaches in New England.
  • Gorgeous beach with great swimming. The best part, on leash dogs are allowed! Labor day was not crowded, easy to find a spot to yourself. Well worth the ferry trip!
  • Easy access beach with a nice shallow sand bar
