My family was looking forward to a short vacation at Tall Timber this summer. I made reservations and was charged a deposit of $60.00. Just before our vacation our elderly mother has become very ill and I had to cancel the reservation. I called to cancel and was told that they do not refund any deposits. I have given them 6 weeks notice that we would not be able to make the trip and I am sure they will rent our space to another customer if need be. This is not the way to do business, their policy of not refunding deposits was not listed on their website anywhere. I doubt that our family would ever stay at this RV park in the future.
Amazing place to camp! Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, sites well maintained and everything going was very clean. Kids loved the swimming pond, zip line, foot golf and more. Would recommend getting a golf cart...the place is big and mostly up hill :0) If they had a camp store it would be better, but it's amazing without. Would highly recommend!!
We joined some relatives for the fourth of July activities. We were very impressed with the whole atmosphere. My family will definitely be going back to explore and stay longer. Great staff, very friendly. Definitely a place I would suggest to others.
This place is awsome
It is a really nice place if you want to party. It is not family oriented as stated on it's Facebook and website. People smoking drugs in the open. Most of the people where drunk even a guy in a black truck who seemed to be driving around the lake just doing countless laps in a circle. He seemed to be in charge but of what I am not sure? The employees which are also countless stand around when you ask them a question they act as if you inconvenienced them. Bathrooms where disgusting urine smell with it splashed everywhere obviously from all the drunk people. My daughter pointed out a hypodermic syringe in a flower bed near children fishing. It is really a shame because this could be a nice place if it had new owners and management. I also agree with what another person's comments there are signs that say NO walking, NO everything I couldn't help think of that song signs signs everywhere a signs. I know I won't be back is not safe for a family.
