Cute little shop with plenty of yarn. The clerk was courteous but not overly friendly, which is fine I guess. Great place to stop in and see, but definitely not a place that makes you want to spend a ...  more »

If you are a knitter, needle-pointer, or crocheter, you NEED to stop by this shop just off Jackson Square. Small shop, and yet lots of eclectic yarn and patterns. Friendly staff who are very helpful!  more »

Excellent store. Beautiful selection of yarns. Also has an amazing array of hand painted needlepoint canvases. And it's right next to Jackson Square. I go there every trip I make to NOLA! It's a MUST !!!!

Amazing selection of specialty yarns. The staff is really helpful and they'll wind your yarn skeins into center pull ball.

The staff isn't particularly friendly but I wouldn't call them rude either. The kits may be all inclusive however they are quite pricey. I'll stick with online shopping and big box craft stores.

We are visiting from Colorado and are so glad we found this shop. The yarn is wonderful- but the two women who were working the shop were ABSOLUTELY delightful. We went in to buy one token skein to mark our trip...... needless to say, we bought a lot more! Thank you for the experience!

Great yarn shop. Purchased an exclusive Mardi Gras color way. Nice touch

Where to stay in New Orleans

Though you can walk to most tourist attractions in New Orleans from a hotel in the central business district, remember that many other parts of town feature less expensive and equally comfortable accommodations. Smaller hotels and private guesthouses in quiet residential neighborhoods offer not only good local food and spacious rooms, but can also allow you to explore the city's culture away from overwhelming tourist crowds. To reduce your carbon footprint during your stay, consider one of French Quarter's many green or eco-friendly hotels.
