  • Located next to the superdome, the Smoothie King Center is home to the Pelicans. Watched a sensational game with Pelicans turned in the last ten seconds of play. The crowd was crazy! Go Pels Go! The best thing is that the tickets are cheap, since the NBA team and not go through excellent phase, is not as popular with the locals. Prefer to watch the victorious Saints NFL games

  • Wet recently for a concert. Great venue, with good organization by the staff on getting you into the center. Parking is pretty close in a garage. While a good venue, the acoustics are frankly terrible...  read more »
  • My husband and I just attended the Def Leppard/REO Speedwagon/Tesla concert this past weekend at the Smoothie King Center. It was our first time to attend anything there. The facility was very clean, ...  read more »
  • Seating was great. We really enjoyed the concert we went to see and had no problems getting in or out of the place. The facility was kept very clean, regardless of the packed house in attendance. I'm not sure about the parking situation as we cabbed it in. Took no time at all for security to move the lines along with a sold out venue.
  • Well, I've been to two Pelicans games and the atmosphere is electric! I ordered off of the Pelicans app and my popcorn came out immediately. The Pelicans aren't the best team but their facilities are top-notch. I ate pizza and had a smoothie (Smoothie King Center) and they were both great! I have really no complaints about the Smoothie King Center. Let's Go Pels!
  • Watched the Pelicans playing the Lakers. Atmosphere was electric, seating good.
  • Service and facility is ok! for a major sports center.
  • I attended a Garth Brooks show on 11-July-2015. The Arena is nicely laid out has clean restrooms. The concessions is marginal at best and HIGH PRICED on top of getting ripped off on the price the condiment stand only has Mayo Mustered & Ketchup, No Pickles Jalapenos or Radish! I could have dealt with the food issues what took most of the stars out of this review was the crowded seating! This place was designed for swim suit models! I am 6ft tall and weigh in at 250 when I sit in the seat I must watch that the arm rest do not rip the pockets of my slacks open. I had to sit with my right arm around my wife and my left arm grasping the arm rest that was in between us so that my left shoulder would not rub on the lady to my left she was about 5ft petite frame no more than 125lbs. I will not attend this Arena for any other event I would rather take a long drive to see Garth next time and keep in mind he is my favorite country artist! This place is not set up for the average Louisiana male to be comfortable!
