Amazing. Just know it is only a 45-minute show, not something to plan your whole night around. I recommend finding something to do before and after, but absolutely worth it for a standing-room ticket.... more

Had the best solo Saturday evening by attending the 7:30 p.m. show. The venue is full of ambiance, love of music, and soul. I love that the Hall supports musicians and also educates future musicians with their foundation. House was packed - so many standing… but I highly recommend purchasing front row if you can. This way you can enjoy a personal experience with the musicians - like you’re in their living room while they play together. The overall experience is about sight and sound but there are these other sensory bits that go with - the smell, the temperature, the textures of it all that add to a one of a kind experience you shouldn’t miss. I will be back for more! Can’t wait!

Great band and amazing history. The sound is good inside and the trumpet player sang without a microphone. At a few points the horns get enough volume that you may want some ear protection if sensitive. Make sure to buy your tickets in advance as it sells out almost every show. I would say the place holds about 80 people maximum. The seated option is on a bench and standing room only is on the side or the very back. Get in line early if you want to get a side spot or seated near the front. I was in back row on the right and the trombone player was blocked most of the time with the large post in the middle of the room.

Memorable musical experience in New orleans! The atmosphere is relaxed and entertaining. Around 40 minutes, the band plays 5-6songs. I lost track of time. But, this place was really small and too hot in summer which made me exhausted a bit.

Loved it. Definitely recommend the seats vs standing. It was warm in there and the standing crowd didn’t look overly comfortable. Music was great, exactly what I was hoping it would be. Only thing that would have made it better would be an encore at the end.

Wow. This whole experience blew my mind. I didn't know what to expect, but knew I had to see a proper jazz band at least once during our stay. The show is short, the room is small. Masks required. The weather was cool, the music was HOT. What a show. My love of New Orleans jazz is cemented. I need to come back without the kids so I can just listen to music all day and night. 😍
