My husband and I were in New Orleans for a very quick trip. We're fans of the Jazz Festival and had searched YouTube to catch some of the bands we enjoyed. Louisiana Music Factory has a channel and we... read more »

I literally sat there for 90 minutes listening to CDs of local Louisiana blues and jazz. I actually bought a CD- my computer doesn't even have a CD drive. So far on my road trip, I haven't regretted m... read more »

Worse store of new orleans and of the whole trip we did (nashville, memphis, lafayette). i bought for 150 $ there, came back a day later to exchange one of the record (patti smith easter paid 20$ for canadian press without lyrics and insert) and the guy wouldn't even consider it." this is used, sale are final". Wow, i wasn't asking for a refund just exchange it with something else and probably would have ended up buying more stuff but no. So records are not cheap there, all records at 20 $ are sealed with scotch tape!!! which shows the paranoia going on there. Pass your way, go to Euclid or Peaches for used stuff, much better stuff, better priced and nice people not like that lousy guy
Good amount of vinyl. Lots of local stuff, older stuff(50's, 60's, 70's), jazz, motown, soul/R&B, and rock. No real (underground)hip-hop or electronic sections, which I was looking for. TONS of used 33's and 45's for $3. Picked up a Temptations and a Nat King Cole vinyl for $16 total.
Large collection of records and CDs. Nice staff and the cutest shop kitty. Regular live music.
I googled 70116 guitar strings, then walked over to unexpectedly find a full house listening to Southern Sounds Party feat. Aurora Nealand, which was awesome... and I got a vinyl copy of The Beach Boys Endless Summer for $3. Great find all the way around.
Well organized! Great selections! Friendly service! Worth going to if you are from out of town! I'm from California, and was glad I came here! They do sell and have a great selection in 78 rpm records!
