Our four-year-old really enjoyed this place -- especially the grocery store -- and could have stayed much longer. The lack of food options there drove us to leave for lunch. The price is good too - $8... read more »

My brother, 11, and I, 14, had a blast here with our one year old cousin. There are so many hands on activities to do and there is so much to see. I would love to go back. The only downside is that there is no resturaurant, but that's completely fine with the New Orleans food outside.
Had a great time with the kids. They had a blast. I loved watching them explore all of the exhibits. However, one of the employees who worked the Winn dixie area was extremely rude and had a very bland attitude with the kids. Seems to be the wrong line of work for her bc when you are dealing with children you have to have a good personality. This girl was so rude, rolling her eyes, felt like we were bothering her by even being there. Other than that one encounter, it was a great experience!
The place is well kept and the staff is very enteractive with the kids. Special thanks to Lori, Jarvis, Avance and Kayla foe keeping my daughter and multiple other kids busy for quite a while. Great Job!
Great museum! Our daughter went here when she was 4 and still remembered it 3 years later, the grocery store and restaurant in particular. Our babies enjoyed the toddler area too. The prices are good for an attraction (we paid way more for almost every other museum thing we did on our trip). Paying for parking sucks, but it's way cheaper than those lots down in the quarter.
So much fun even for a toddler. It's all set up as imaginary play, but with a purpose (like in the theme of a French Quarter historic house, or a Cajun shotgun house). Really smart design!
