  • While visiting New Orleans on a road trip, we just had to drive across this amazing bridge. We did so when leaving New Orleans and heading north, so there is no toll in that direction.  more »
  • Beautiful and huge Lake next to the University of New Orleans. Great place to lie down and take a Sun on hot days, feeling the breeze from the water.

  • It's really a little scary driving across this bridge. At the same time you kind of forget you're not driving across land. It gets really interesting when you can't see any land in either direction. I felt like an old sea explorer when I started seeing sea gulls. Birds are signs of land up ahead. Then the land comes into view on the distant horizon. Kind of a kick!
  • Nice facilities clean, playground for the kids. Boat launch, picnic tables and grills, rules apply. Nice park.
  • Love it, clear your mind just drive
  • Mesmerizing moments! Best part to drive over it is sunset or sunrise, make sure fog doesn't ruin your travelling
  • The iconic north shore of New Orleans. An exceptional natural wonder. Quite exhilarating during a wind event. Take a stroll along Lakeshore Drive!
