  • They have horse racing but the day we went the track was closed but we were able to watch it on the tvs and also place bets. But it was uncomfortable. The chairs were straight back. And pub style seat...  more »
  • Very classy, I felt out of place. Was fun watching the ostriches races but other then that was not my scenario. Very high scale place, very clean, very nice!  more »
  • We went on their biggest day of the year --- the Louisiana Derby, and actually the day before as well. We were a little letdown I suppose but at the same time happy that we could get amazing seats at ...  more »

  • I go every year for the music and crawfish bread. This was my daughter's first year and we will make this our annual "must do". Although my daughter's main objective was to watch Maroon 5, it was nice to see her dancing around to the different types of music.
  • Great setup for Jazz Fest this year. We would have appreciated it more if y'all hadn't turned off the TVs right before the derby.
  • Great for locals. Small and quaint. Clean and respectable.
  • Jazz festival. Maroon five next day Tom Petty. All time great event.
  • The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival has been a great event. The diversity of people and venue and music. This is what America is all about.

Where to stay in New Orleans

Though you can walk to most tourist attractions in New Orleans from a hotel in the central business district, remember that many other parts of town feature less expensive and equally comfortable accommodations. Smaller hotels and private guesthouses in quiet residential neighborhoods offer not only good local food and spacious rooms, but can also allow you to explore the city's culture away from overwhelming tourist crowds. To reduce your carbon footprint during your stay, consider one of French Quarter's many green or eco-friendly hotels.
