  • My husband and I took the trolley out from the French Quarter. We bought a $3 jazz pass to cover the round trip and use again in that 24 hours. Entrance to the park was $9. We did not ride the train, ...  more »
  • This was such a fantastic time A definite MUST see if you are in NOLA, The lights are just beautiful and well laid out, wonderful mix of lights and flowers that are still in bloom,
  • It was the last day (Jan 2), and even though we didn't buy tickets ahead, it was a quick and painless process at the entrance. Alluring light (hundreds of thousands of them) all over the trees, bushes...  more »

  • I'm not sold on this one...it's really just a decent, but basic light show.
  • Best time of the year best place to go
  • If you have gone regularly to celebration in the oaks then you might be disappointed this year. There were displays missing that were there a few years ago. The house scenes were gone. The laser lights were gone. Personally I liked it much better when they had the drive thru. I think all the rides take away from the Christmas essence that it used to portray.
  • Hot spiced rum, coldish weather, cajun night before christmas with light up santa and sleigh, beautiful old oak trees basked in the twinkly soft christmas light? A Must see.....hohohahahaha
  • A little crowded, but it was a great night and beautiful lights.
