  • This seems like a fantastic spot to bring kids, and honestly, even as an adult you can have some fun here. They sell beer, which is always a plus. Obviously it's geared towards children, but there are things like the carousel, train, and ferris wheel that adults can enjoy. I wouldn't necessarily go here without kids, but the train ride was pretty fun. It's nice that it seems very affordable for families.
  • About 15 different rides. $22 for unlimited rides. $4 for each ride. Good for kids
  • I like to come here, it's a fun place to go and the rides are great, anyone should check it out.
  • Kids got the unlimited ride band and had a blast. Looks like they could use s bit better upkeep.
  • I take my kids there almost every weekend! Love City Park and all it has to offer.

Where to stay in New Orleans

Though you can walk to most tourist attractions in New Orleans from a hotel in the central business district, remember that many other parts of town feature less expensive and equally comfortable accommodations. Smaller hotels and private guesthouses in quiet residential neighborhoods offer not only good local food and spacious rooms, but can also allow you to explore the city's culture away from overwhelming tourist crowds. To reduce your carbon footprint during your stay, consider one of French Quarter's many green or eco-friendly hotels.
