  • I have visited Otis at Bottom of the Tea Cup twice. Overall, it is a really nice shop with friendly staff and great ambiance. Otis did a joint reading for my wife and I and foretold the birth of our two sons, our move to Boston, and our son's birth date! I think it is worth a stop when you are in NOLA.
  • This is a great shop! You can find all kinds of fun things, crystals, jewelry, stones, cards, glass pyramids, medals, and dolls. The staff is fun and super friendly and I enjoyed chatting while waiting for my reading appointment---I arrived 50 minutes early for my reading with Otis and the staff got me in early. The reading from Otis was positive, fun and full of energy. He loves what he does and it truly shows. For my 1/2 hour reading he gave me a CD and I've been able to relisten to my reading and have heard more things that I missed during the actual reading. Thank you to the staff and Otis for a fantastic time in your shop!
  • The shop is a nice place with some cool trinkets. They had an opening for a reading on the fly so I went in, waited to be called and went into a small room with the physic. She told me some nice things and brought up things about my career that were pretty accurate but I would not say there was a big connection between us. I chose the half hour reading which didn't take the whole half hour but that was ok. I did like that they record your reading so you can listen to it later. All in all I say they're worth a shot, I just didn't feel a big connection with the reader as I have with other readers.
  • So bad. It's completely fake all "Mr Lotus" did was eread your card. Good cards are yours and bad ones are what you "are not". Don't waste your money. A random psychic on the steeet would be a million times better.
  • Got to try the genmai-cha, and was very happy, because it is a rare tea, and in my opinon is the most delicious. I loved that the cups were compostable, but my favorite aspect of the shop were the astrological tables. They are quite amazing, and I long to have one of my own! They have an amazing selection of crystals too! I bought a ton of stuff in this shop, as I am quite esoteric myself, and was very pleased with the service and prices.
