  • I know this is really commercialized and corporate and it's not cool to like it but honestly, these were my favorite pralines that I had in Nola. I tried Loretta's and Leah's, and Sally's we're my favorite. They are a tiny bit salty/buttery and I prefer that to the others that I thought were way too sweet. The banana's foster flavor was amazing. The store is really nice and a great place to pick up gifts for friends.
  • Visited NO many times and Sally’s has the nicest customer service in town. The variety of pralines are all delicious! The best in town! I highly recommend it!
  • There are many parleen shops throughout the French Quarters and around New Orleans. However we found that this one had the best variety of all flavors, prices & interesting historical artifacts. Not to mention made fresh daily right in front of you at the store. Worth the trip from anywhere, buy an extra for me. ~V.
  • Quick, friendly service. The pralines were amazing!! We tried a few different ones and man oh man were they good! Certainly worth the stop. The line moved pretty quick. Easy access via doors on either side of the shop.
  • Free samples of various pralines. Lots of souvenirs. View pralines being made. The aroma of the store alone is worth a visit. Pricey!!

Where to stay in New Orleans

Though you can walk to most tourist attractions in New Orleans from a hotel in the central business district, remember that many other parts of town feature less expensive and equally comfortable accommodations. Smaller hotels and private guesthouses in quiet residential neighborhoods offer not only good local food and spacious rooms, but can also allow you to explore the city's culture away from overwhelming tourist crowds. To reduce your carbon footprint during your stay, consider one of French Quarter's many green or eco-friendly hotels.
