  • Absolutely beautiful sunset. We had a family road trip through New Mexico for the first time and heard how beautiful they were, but to experience it was so surreal. The land is beautiful with so much authenticity.
  • Website said crib and roll away bed available. It wasn't. Said pool available. Pool was empty. Pillows were flat. Room had cockroaches. I believe I should get some type of refund. The Knight's Inn on the Black Canyon and Sweetwater will not be recommended to anyone.
  • Really beautiful area. The overlook on the way up to Ski Santa Fe is neat, especially on a hazy cloudy day. Lots of great hiking, especially to Nambe Lake. Definitely suggest bringing a rain shell if you intend on hiking during June and April. It can be pretty chilly in the higher elevations of New Mexico. Hike to Nambe Lake and back was about 2 hours if you really trek it. Parking is free in the large parking area at the top of the mountain (Ski Santa Fe's parking lot), as well as along the state highway leading you to the top of the mountain. Be observant of hikers crossing the roads as the single road is twisty and curvy. Public restrooms are near the parking lot at the top. Open to animals.
  • Having lived and worked in New Mexico all my life I have seen and enjoyed and appreciated its natural surroundings on innumerable occasions. Any chance to get out and breathe the fresh air of our national forests is one worthwhile. Over the years I have watched as the facilities and accessibility have greatly improved lending to the quality of each visit.
  • Awesome place. I recommend the hot springs. About an hour hike Up.
