  • A very beautiful romantic place. Perfect place to take a date. Propose to your main squeeze. And have the wedding and reception.
  • Just lovely. Very beautiful gardens and a really interesting history to the house. Take 45 minutes for the house tour. Then stroll throughout the gardens. Or plan your wedding reception here!
  • Very quiet and interesting place. Great views
  • Wedding day staff were great (ask for Maria)! Beautiful location for our ceremony and reception but would have expected more from the coordinator for the price.
  • I've been here many times and always enjoy the beautiful grounds and gardens. The B&B rooms behind the big house are the best with the kitchen herb garden out front. There's an interesting story about the lake as well. It's a very casual place. When you check in, they tell you your key is in your room, which is unlocked. They give you the combination to the front gate so you can get back in after you have dinner in town (Little River Inn in New Iberia is great), because they leave at 5:00. There are usually some grounds keepers there until dusk, but it's very private in the evenings.
