We visited Rice's Market on the 1st Saturday after Labor Day. Apparently, most vendors to not show up that day...it was about 80% empty. Even the vendors that were there were surprised how empty it wa... read more »
My kids go here often, and thought I would check it out. It was ok. Lots of the same stuff by many vendors. Some of the country motif vendors inside the bars had some nice stuff. It's worth a stop onc... read more »

If I could turn back time! It used to be a outstanding mkt. Now a shell of it's former self. A beautiful place to take a walk, which is what most people do there. As a vendor...it's a good place to take inventory! The beautiful owner is the icing on the cake!! She has a personality to go with it too.they have good food and most of the people that serve it have good conversation as well.Attention please...if u don't buy merchandise from the vendors, the vendors can't afford to come out n provide this event!!! Thanks.
Don't buy anything from little Joe. He 's the guy that sells watches, watchbands and batteries. I purchased a watchband from him the Saturday before Easter. One of the two leather clasps came off. I took it back to him this past Saturday, he grabbed it from my hand, tore off the clasp and told me I was to rough!!! He would not replace my watchband. He was rude and arrogant!! And what's with all the dogs????? I love dogs, I have one of my own. It's ridiculous. It's definitely not like it used to be. I'd rather take my business to a jeweler and pay a little more than to be treated like dirt!
RICE'S IS EVER EVOLVING SOMETIMES THERE ARE GREAT SELECTIONS AND DEALS OTHERS NOT SO MUCH. I believe spring and early fall ar the best times. I have enjoyed going there a couple times a year for the past 20 years.
Don't waste your time unless your in the market for Chinese imports. It isn't what it used to be, antiques are few and far between, mostly auction leftovers. I seriously doubt we will ever come back. Happy Hunting.
Ok flea market, hit or miss, depends on time of year. Many new item dealers, few antiques / older items
