  • This is definitely the best ski area in CT! Nice variety of slopes that are always kept very well groomed. There's a wonderful "small town" feel about the resort with many local families in attendance...  more »

  • I've gone here since I started skiing! No doubt this place is the best in CT. It isn't as big as a ski resort in NH or VT but at the same time there are no mountains in CT. So it is a good size ski re...  more »

  • Went to this place on a whim and loved it. It's a small mountain so I was pleasantly surprised at the well-designed terrain and variety. The staff was friendly and the ability to night ski makes this place a great choice for a half day or evening of skiing.
  • It sure is very convenient and quaint to have a small ski resort like this one near home. But there is a very inconsistent policy for backcountry skiing though: I was first allowed to skin up but then a few weeks later I was kicked out in the middle of my uphill hike!! What??!! I wouldn't mind to pay something to enjoy uphill hiking while my kids enjoy the lifts. Shouldn't a small resort like this one try to be inclusive instead of exclusive??!! C'mon!
  • Best skiing in the vicinity with really good snow-making, lit trails for night skiing, enthusiastic patrons who are generally well-behaved and staff that is attentive and thoughtful. Trails are varied and suitable for beginners to pretty darn good. Some pretty good terrain park activities too. Unfortunately weaher doesnt always support great conditions and, like every ski place, take their stated conditions with a grain of salt.
  • Good low key mountain, never really long lines. It's a bit smaller but decent trails.
  • Overall a relatively good ski resort (especially considering that there aren't many mountains around here!), although is a bit pricey. Ski lessons here are good as well, although once your child reaches a certain point, the only options for them to learn more will be Ski Racing which you can do if you're willing to make a commitment.
