  • Went during the fall colours and it was spectacular. Facilities were shut, so it was very quiet and we had the beach almost to ourselves.

  • They have this swim at your own risk session when life gaurds are on break or off duty. Really cool for guys that can take care of themselves. Very nice walking path in the woods.
  • A great park when you can get in. Something needs to be done about the out of towners coming in and taking over. Would also be nice to have a larger swimming area, or even utilize the other side between the boat launch and swimming area.
  • Great state park. Grills, hiking, swimming, and kayak rentals. Get there when it opens on weekends to get in. Terrible outside parking.
  • Perfect for picnicking ... ! BBQs available with ample parking space and beautiful scenery
  • Gorgeous lake (I don't believe it is a pond) though it does get crowded on the weekends
