  • Great rails, a beautiful bridge, nature center. A great place to slow down for a bit. I have only went for day trips but they do have rental facilities and camp sites available.
  • My wife and I traveled around to all of the campsites and lodges! Walked off through their amazing trails and along the creeks! We had such a great time! Its a great place to enjoy nature!!!!!
  • We come here every year in the spring and thoroughly enjoy it! It can get crowded at times when there are large events taking place, but the facilities have been good for the past several years since the park was taken over by the City of Houston. A great place to see nature!
  • Do not let the name fool you, there is really no lake. Extensive trail system exists and creeks as well. The roads are rocks laid through a forest basically. The facilities were clean and BBQ grills and tables were also operational. The park does not have the Texas state park consistency of service doing my day stay here. Still fun for the day.
  • Great place to have an event. We rented the dining hall for a graduation party. Staff was easy to work with and very friendly. Highly recommend it.
  • Being active Army ive hiked in states like , SC, NC, GA, MO, HI. This park was pretty good. The trails are well maintained , impossible to get lost and great photo ops. One thing I didnt like is theres no hills for a moment of challenge. Completely flat trails. I would defiently return though.
