  • We were told by staff at a lunch stop that we should see the 'nature trail'. When we pulled into the dirt road that led to the hiking trail I thought we would just have a little walk after lunch. Well...  read more »
  • We went here solely because it was highly rated. Great for strolling; nothing too rigorous. Views of the river from a suspended path, and a path along the river are both serene.
  • Beautiful wet land adventure 50 miles from Chicago! If you have your own kayak its free, or rent one by the hour. Can go all the way to lake Michigan not sure of distance but two 60 year old plus guys...  read more »
  • If you live anywhere from New Buffalo to Three oaks, back to Union Pier and all the way North where Bridgman is (our home!), you must go out here for a visit. Whether you are an adult who wants to have a wonderful view of the Galien River along with putting your eye on a beautiful bird, or whether you are a twelve year old that is able to make the walk, ask your folks to bring you. It's a nice walk. My wife and I live in Bridgman and we have done this several times. One thing I pass on is someone moving around too much or quickly on the suspension bridges. But maybe that is another selling point to the younger goofballs. But please be safe while your up there. Great and beautiful space and view.
  • Very peaceful walk. We visited with a large group and had a lovely time. Very peaceful and lively views of the river. My 2 year old three his hat from the top, so if you find it let me know!
  • This is a fabulous park for walking/hiking. Not wheelchair friendly. there is an elevated wooden walkway with wonderful views of the Galien river. Well worth the stop for a little side visit. Port-a-potty only, no facilities
  • Great but small park. Wonderful Marsh board walk and overview. It was well worth the half hour or so. It's very peaceful and quite with unique views.
  • Pretty cool place. Nice look out points. Needs longer trail though.
