  • If you need to wind down, take a walk around the park. There are concerts in the park in the summer, usually on Wednesday nights but check with New Britain Parks & Rec. I seem to recall a summer when the concerts were on Monday nights. Walnut Hill Park also has a Veterans Memorial, baseball fields, tennis courts, & a paved road that goes all the way around. They did tear up the play scape but I believe they are putting in a better one. There is plenty of parking too.
  • Great walking loop with tennis courts, baseball diamond, views of the older homes, a pretty water fountain. There's parallel parking and parking lots and it's well lit if you stay until dusk.
  • Great place for Pokemon go players (haha). A lot of exercise equipment around the entire park, only down side to that is A lot of kids will play on them like toys and refuse to leave them if they notice adults going towards them. Small kids area that could use a little work.
  • Beautiful place to relax and gather your thoughts. Great for running and excircising
  • Beautiful small the park. Good for exercises walking love it.
