  • It's bustling on I-35. You can find serious traffic, serious shopping, and fast or leisurely eats. Find the town square, and you've stumbled into all that defines a friendly, little Texas town.

  • This place is beautiful! I absolutely loved the stay. The location was great and the space was large enough for all of my big family. Only problem was the dryer wasn't working well and I wish that the pool was cooler but what can you expect it's Texas.
  • This store is clean, organized and has a great variety of things. The staff were friendly and helpful. Their old school registers take FOREVER to process a transaction.
  • The resort is clean and amenities are great. The biggest issue can be the overly pushy sales folk. Even being with owners they continue to push for further purchases which tends to turn off potential buyers.
  • Friendly staff, great condos, nice location. If you want to spend time in Gruene, you can't beat it. We had a smoke detector device that it had a lot to say about its low battery and they fixed it right away.
  • My family has been coming here for summer vacations the last 6 years now. It's very quiet and peaceful with beautiful nature scenery and wildlife around (mostly deer). Everyone that visits seem like friendly neighbors you've known for years. The condos/townhouses are decorated in a quaint Western theme that perfectly fits being in the heart of Texas. There's enough room for an entire family to vacation together. It's in a great location. Old Gruene Hall and Historic Gruene are just at the end of the street and right next door are rafting companies to take you floating along the river. Gruene is basically in New Braunfels, so Schlitterbahn is just down the street. It's a great place to go if you want to escape work and stress and just relax with family. Though it is a little hard to find while driving, it's like a hidden treasure. If I could, I'd stay here forever!
