  • I love Landa park. It is one of the reasons I moved to New Braunfels. There are 2 swimming pools, one with spring fed Comal River water which is ice cold in the summer heat. There is a train ride avai...  more »
  • Nice place. 3 playgrounds, depending on the age of the children. Nice little train ride. $3.00 will keep you and the little one(s) occupied for a good 1/2 hour. Nothing special, but, the kids love it....  more »
  • This is a great park with lots of places to have a picnic and for children of all ages to play. They even have an area where children can swim and an aquatic center that is reasonable in pricing. They...  more »

  • We drove from Victoria TX to check this park out and for the most part it was slightly above average. There was plenty for the kids to do and the water was clear and cool; the slides and rope swing were also nice features. The park personnel are very safety conscious and there were more than enough life guards on duty. There are changing rooms on site to get into dry clothes and the restrooms were clean too but for all that a 100+ mile one way ride to experience the park is not justified. The locals are blessed with a great park but it isn't a tourist attraction by any means.
  • A real treasure of a park here in NB. Relax under huge, 100+ year old oak trees while squirrels and, in the evenings, deer forage all around. In the spring and summer, evenings many years bring huge numbers of fireflies from the woods. Picturesque, spring-fed streams, the Comal River--fish or feed the ducks and geese (Spotted several wood ducks this year, which was a special treat.). Just a fantastic place to relax with the family or get out and get some exercise.
  • The Best city park ever! Water park, fishing, trails, paddle boats, train rides, pools, volleyball, play grounds, pavilions, stage for events, deer, and so much more. We love to feed the ducks and relax in the evening. Great place for a picnic. Concerts in the park and movie nights are a wonderful summer activity too.
  • One of my favorite spots in texas it does get crowded during summer weekends but most of the year or during week days is empty and you can enjoy this great park by grilling or watching the ducks and the water is so clear and clean its amazing. Also the area is so well kept and it even has a small trail that is fun. You can also ride a train or paddle with a boat great scenery. Outstanding!!!
  • I love Landa Park! It's beautiful, well maintained and peaceful. It is a serene place to have lunch or walk. There are many organized events as well as Pokemon hunting! Lots of wildlife! Drive slow!
