Enjoyed our visit out to Dry Comal Creek Winery. We had a reasonably priced tasting of several wines and they added a tasting of their frozen sangria at the end to top it off, which was nice on a blazing hot day. It's not the nicest little winery, but the wines are tasty and the staff is kind. It's definitely out in the middle of nowhere though!
We tried this Vineyard on a small vacation at a nearby resort. We had an excellent time and Jean was a very fun host! The wines were very tasty and she explained the different grapes to us. Please don't skip out on the Sangria!! Amazing! We would definitely go back for the tour of the Vineyard, since it's closed during the week. All and all it was a great experience.
I've visited this place several times, and the staff here are very nice. The experience is well worth the money for the tasting, and I would definitely suggest doing the full tasting which includes the ports.
This was my first time visiting a vineyard and I had an outstanding time! Larry was a great host and highly recommend doing the tour. Certainly enjoyed the wines that we tried and walked out with three bottles. Not a huge wine drinker so won't comment on the taste, but highly recommend this place due to the outstanding service they gave us.
