  • Specifically had this place as the one thing to do while visiting this area for the weekend. Smaller than expected but appreciated the displays they had. An unexpected train ride was nice.
  • A great place to take children. See how people traveled in the days of the Wild West! Live history. The gift shop has many educational items for your children.

  • Amazing collection and such wonderful volunteers. Totally volunteer run, with all donations going to restoration and upkeep. A delightful place for all ages. Grandpa as well as the 4 1/2 yr. old loved poking about the train cars and viewing proposed restoration projects. A definite must see. Maybe you might have some expertise to lend? If you go now, you will get to see the engines dressed up in holiday garb. Very fun.
  • Seems like a nice little museum! Showed up on a day they weren't open but I got to walk around the yard and see the old train cars, artifacts, and locomotive #5. Hope to make it back and see what is inside. Big narrow gauge railroad fan from SW Colorado and they even had a D&RGW stock car there!
  • Dedicated volunteers.
