  • Amazing collection and such wonderful volunteers. Totally volunteer run, with all donations going to restoration and upkeep. A delightful place for all ages. Grandpa as well as the 4 1/2 yr. old loved poking about the train cars and viewing proposed restoration projects. A definite must see. Maybe you might have some expertise to lend? If you go now, you will get to see the engines dressed up in holiday garb. Very fun.
  • Seems like a nice little museum! Showed up on a day they weren't open but I got to walk around the yard and see the old train cars, artifacts, and locomotive #5. Hope to make it back and see what is inside. Big narrow gauge railroad fan from SW Colorado and they even had a D&RGW stock car there!
