  • Have been coming here for almost 5 years (11 days after they opened) Beer has always been great. Bar staff always knowledgeable about their beers. Food has always been hit or miss. Saw big improvement...  more »
  • Super beer selection. Maybe the best Reuben I've ever had. Service a bit slow and the fries barely warm. But there's a lot going on with activities and I'd definitely go back.
  • When I visited I received quick service and the bartender was very helpful in suggesting what to try and quick to serve! My group stayed for longer than you normally would and was never pressured to l...  more »

  • One of our new favorite stops! Really impressed with the food. If you're a big eater and like larger portions (or if you want leftovers), this may not be the place for you, but the quality was stellar. My husband had a local trout dish, and I had the vegetable gumbo. Both were amazing. The Friday night atmosphere was great, with live music, but not to the point where you are sitting underneath the band and you can't hear yourself think. Service was excellent, and beer was tasty!
  • The new chef is off the chain, my shrimp and grits was better than any I've had in Richmond VA or anywhere south. The atmosphere is relaxing and fun. Great job Wild Wolf.
  • I really hate to leave a negative review because we heard the food and beer were pretty good at this place - also because I'm a pretty easy customer and tend to write only positive reviews. We arrived on Monday night 9/5 around 7:45 and were sat immediately by the host at a table outside - but then we just sat there and were ignored. We sat there for 30 minutes (at least) -- then just got up and left. We watched 3 servers chat with customers, clear tables and even sweep up... none of them came over to take our drink order. It wasn't busy - I think there were only 3 other tables outside at the time. We went back to Devils Backbone instead -- that place is great. I hope this review is helpful to encourage Wild Wolf to pay closer attention to their customers and put some emphasis on quality service.
  • LOVE their farm to fork ideology!! I enjoyed fish and chips(sweet potatoe fries for GF) with slaw. Battered pickle chips to start, also gluten free!! My husband got the Pork bbq sandwich and fries and was VERY pleased. We got chicken tenders(can also be made GF) for our daughter. Loved that the regular menu had the Gluten free options right there. For those with Celiac, they have a dedicated fryer and made sure to tell the kitchen. I believe they said the owner's son has celiac, so they have a lot of knowledge. They bake their own bread and everything is outsourced in no more than a 30 mile radius! First time there but NOT the last!
  • Loved this place! Amazing atmosphere gluten free options. Delicious food. Burgers, soups, etc. Glad we stopped. Family of 4 with 2 teens. Outdoor seating allows pets. We even went twice during our stay on wintergreen mountain.
