  • Completely unpretentious; no one showing off their sick bra ski gear or looking down their nose at anyone. A good amount of terrain with some bumps, groomers, steep & a nice park. Something for everyo...  more »

  • Funtastic ski area in the heart of Montana. Great place for the kids to experience the ol'time local ski area experience that we grew up with.
  • I've been skiing here more than a decade and always had a great experience. The runs aren't as long and the mountain isn't as big as some other areas in Montana, but the lines are so much shorter, the snow is consistently better, and the runs are still very comprehensive. Not only that, but it's much cheaper than any other ski resort for what I would consider a better experience.
  • Perhaps the best small ski area in the state? Terrain for all ability levels, easy to navigate, and good snow, relative to much of the state. Great kids programs and still highly affordable! A bit light on the gnar compared to Bridger or Discovery, but still plenty of challenges.
  • Showdown Montana is a great place to ski. It almost always has fairly good snow and it has a great, fun family atmosphere.
  • Small but very friendly mountain, you'll keep busy all day looking for great hidden features the mountain has to offer.
