  • Love the fact it is so close. Why drive I 70 when you can just head up the canyon. Terrain that is good. Not many crowds especially on the back. Great instructors. Great adaptive ski program.
  • This is an area that is important to the history of the American Indians as an area of study, as well...this land you ski on was THEIRS and no one respects this to this day. one of the travesties in life is that this land is used for the white mans entertainment and abuse of land to this day, skiing and such.....as a whole it should be considered as sacred grounds... but as we know, nothing is sacred in this life in america except money.
  • Can't beat the location. I love the ease of getting to this resort and the mix of slope difficulties is just right. Great for morning skiing. During the afternoon, the sun travels to the back of the mountain on the opposite side from the slopes so it gets a bit icy some days.
  • I have a Nordic season pass to Eldora. Easy access from Boulder, reasonable price (about $300 for a 4-5 month season), friendly Nordic staff, great Nordic trails. I just wish the Nordic hut was larger!
  • Yes there are more beautiful and bigger resorts you can go to if you want to deal with I-70 traffic. However locals who don't want to deal with that come here. Everyone is very friendly, no traffic, still has beautiful colorado snowboarding. Also signed my kid up with Trek lessons and the teachers were excellent. Right now I spend most of my riding days at this resort.
