  • Relatively reasonable price for the area and especially since it's a landmark for the harbor! We went at night. Pretty awesome seeing it lit up. Would encourage visitors to go.
  • I was in the National Harbor for a business trip and immediately knew I needed to get on this ferris wheel! Even though I'm usually afraid of heights, it was just so beautiful lit up at night, and I w...  read more »
  • In Greenvalley you for the ticket cost. I was able to get them at an even better price through Groupon. It was the most amazing Ferris wheel I've ever written on. There is almost no sense of motion, r...  read more »
  • Definitely got out money's worth after a nice go-round six times! The view is amazing and the atmosphere is perfect. The cabs are enclosed and climate controlled, which was really nice for a 95 degree day!
  • Gotta say, the Capital Wheel exceeded my expectations...the views of National Harbor were okay, though you can't really see AS much of Old Town Alexandria or the District as the hype would have you believe. What was surprising was how many revolutions we actually experienced on the wheel...on a March evening, I'd estimate that we were allowed to go around at least 10-15 times, which certainly makes the somewhat pricey entry fee for the Wheel WELL worth it. Everyone should do it at least once...probably won't do it again, but hey, Ferris wheels are ALWAYS fun! :)
  • One of an experience.. make sure u visit the wheel nearing sunset.. it's a beautiful view.. if u have a car, u better park in the main parking and not outside as outside parking is limited to 2 hrs.. and I'm sure if u have kids.. u would need more hours..
  • It's a good experience and a must try if you're nearby. The wheel spinned around 5 times before we hopped off. The cabins are air-conditioned and sealed. Ticket prices are 15 for adults and 12 for kids below 12 years of age.
  • My kids and I had a ball on the wheel. Also didn't know they moved the awakening statue there. It was a great surprise.
