  • The park is cleasn, beautiful scenery, lots of nature and trails. The people there are very friendly and helpful. the trees were starting to turn and it was a very calm cool day.
  • I went up the creek beds with my grandkids. The loved it. Minnows, crawfish and tadpoles plus an old time swimmin' hole. My kids loved creekbeds too.

  • I liked this place better than lake Monroe park except for the size of the lake. Things I liked about this place: 1. Has an extensive hiking trails around the lake. 2. The place is free. 3. The lake is quite pretty. 4. This place gives a feel of early years of camping and hiking. As roads are made up of sand and gravel around the lake.
  • I went for the Jackson Creek Trail because I heard it was handicapped accessible. Turns out it is only partially accessible. There are some tree roots that I made it over in my manual chair. Eventually the path went from paved to gravel and I found it impassable. I had to turn around. But it was still throughly enjoyable. Handicapped accessible bathrooms by the main office.
  • We always hold our family reunion here and its such a peaceful place :)
  • Love hiking around this area. Always a great spot close to the city to get away.
  • Very beautiful in the spring
