Where to stay in Nashville

Stay in downtown, midtown, the west end, or near Vanderbilt to be at the center of it all in Nashville. You'll find plenty of boutique hotels and major chains in all of these areas, which give you great access to the downtown music scene and beyond. While you can find a bit of everything in downtown Nashville, from larger hotels to apartment rentals, keep in mind that more affordable, and often quainter, options are located further from Broadway. Travelers looking to spend most of their time at the Grand Ole Opry should consider accommodations in the Opryland or Music Valley area near the airport.

  • My best friend and I went to Nashville, TN for the first time this past week and we both wanted to visit this mall for our own individual reasons: he wanted to buy a pair of cowboy boots (authentic le...  more »
  • We’d left early to visit Opry Mills. This was 10 miles from the city centre. While for the most part, this is a typical American Mall with an excellent array of fast food outlets, it is also home to t...  more »
  • This is a pretty good mall. It has lots of cool things, like Bass Pros, Johnny Rockets, Lego, Forever 21, and much more. It's not as awesome as, say, the Mall of America, but it was decent.  more »

  • Waited 45 minutes for our order. Still wasn't ready when we walked out. Bartender was our "waiter". Tried speaking to the manager. Definitely won't go back. Such a shame since they offer gluten free options on their menu which was our main reason for choosing this restaurant
  • It's a great big mall to attract Nashville tourists. If you enjoy traffic, searching for parking spaces and walking around with hordes of people when you shop maybe it's the place for you. Good food and a carousel for the kids to ride in the food court, several restaurants, a variety of stores to shop in, movie theater, etc... and it's clean. My wife and my credit card provider loved it, thus the 4 stars, I thought it was ok.
  • This is a nice mall, albeit huge in size. The parking lot is spacious as well, with lots of access points, meaning all visitors don't have to funnel through one or two entrances. The downsides are that the entrance to the mall itself was poorly designed - it's one lane through to get into the parking area and a traffic light causes traffic to back up onto the parkway, making it look much more crowded than it is at times. It would have been beneficial for the designers to also put an obvious pass-through in the middle of the mall so you did not need to walk the 2 miles around the perimeter. One exists, but it's not for the general public to use. Otherwise, nice place to shop.
  • HUGE. This is one of the best malls I have ever been in. Lots of eateries and a huge variety of stores. Everyone was helpful esp. The security people. Clean bathrooms. Something for everyone.
  • Love coming to this mall even though we live an hour or so away. Plenty of great choices to eat and love most of the stores. Its also has plenty of entertainment inside. Love the location right by the hotel and Opry all in walking distance.
