  • This is a great farmers market with plenty of food options and a great location right across the street from a beautiful park just outside of downtown Nashville.  more »
  • Most farmers' markets are seasonal, but in Nashville. This market includes an indoor pavilion with quite a number of offerings, even on this blustery April afternoon. Our late afternoon arrival found ...  more »

  • Plenty parking options around and easy access on free metro circuit lines. Adjacent to Capitol state park. Good food court. Prices too high. Selection of "farm" products not all that great, but produce we sampled always fresh, ripe or almost ripe (your choice which to buy). Vendors overwhelmingly friendly and helpful. So far have never encountered much of a rush here.
  • The Nashville Farmer's Market is a treat whether you are a tourist looking to discover the real Nashville or a local who can come any time. On Saturdays the Market has a carnival atmosphere complete with street musicians, cooking demonstrations and many extra booths. The core of vendors--local folks all--have tables groaning with freshly picked herbs, fruits and vegetables, home-baked pies and freezers with meat from grass-feed cows and pigs. Other vendors sell hand-made toys, earrings and trinkets. Inside a big room in the middle is a food court, an international store and the best ice cream anywhere, Jeni's. Every time we go I see parents with kids, older folks, college students and every other age, race, ethnic group you can think of, all having good time together. If you like good food and a community atmosphere, it's a good place to go.
  • Fun and good deals on produce and seasonal decorations! The parking situation is terrible right now tho! It looks like they may be renovating the parking lot, so that's good. The food court is amazing with lots of ethnic choices from many cultures. Our 9 year old and 1 year old both loved it! Beware of lunchtime tho, as that's when the surrounding city is trying to get in there for their awesome selection of foods.
  • Lots of fun! They have a petting instrument booth that allows you a chance to pick-up an instrument and get a few quick pointers to encourage you to maybe give it more of a try. Fun crafts and some good food. Great spot to grab lunch.
  • if you can time it to snag good parking, it has a lot to offer both inside and out. most vendor have some ability to accept plastic, but it never hurts to bring cash as a back up. great food, great produce, great selection and variety of offerings!
