Where to stay in Nashville

Stay in downtown, midtown, the west end, or near Vanderbilt to be at the center of it all in Nashville. You'll find plenty of boutique hotels and major chains in all of these areas, which give you great access to the downtown music scene and beyond. While you can find a bit of everything in downtown Nashville, from larger hotels to apartment rentals, keep in mind that more affordable, and often quainter, options are located further from Broadway. Travelers looking to spend most of their time at the Grand Ole Opry should consider accommodations in the Opryland or Music Valley area near the airport.

  • My son and I visited this museum on impulse and ended up spending nearly 5 hours there. Incredible collection of the real instruments used in famous concerts and studio recordings. Recognition for those behind the scene as well. The interactive part of the museum gives visitors a chance to play different instruments, song write and do studio recording. As we were leaving we met the events coordinator, the curator and the man who had the vision to create this Hall of Fame; and we even got a personalized look at a recently acquired drum set from the stage at Woodstock. I highly recommend this museum for anyone and all music genres.
  • This is an amazing and incredible and awesome place. The displays are wonderful. By chance, I was able to talk with the curator for a while. With him as the curator, the museum museum is in good hands.
  • I loved that we went to visit here at a low attendance time. The woman at the front desk was great and helpful. A gentleman came over to us while we were taking photos of each other on a stage and asked if we wanted him to take one of both of us. The movie was very informative as there was so much I didn't realize about the music industry. The interactive studio exhibits were cool and all the visual ones were very well put together. I would suggest to those music lovers, a visit to this awesome museum!
  • If you are a music lover, then this is the place for you! The Musicians Hall of Fame spotlights session musicians from some of the most iconic recording studios in American Music History. Definitely worth checking out.
  • The best!!! Jay McDowell was our curator. He had personal experience with many of the exhibits at the museum. I would highly recommend the museum. We will go back again
