  • My wife wanted to sell some books so we took a sampling of items with us on the way to pick someone up at the airport. They took about half of her books, maybe a dozen, and paid her enough to pick up ...  more »
  • If you happen to be traveling through Nashville and you appreciate books, you need to stop in. It's impressive...HUGE!
  • Every time in Nashville I have to make a stop here. Love this place a bit of everything. Just check other sources many times cheaper in other areas. But come by you won't be disappointed

  • I am a book and music junkie. I saw their ad in one of the little Nashville Scene papers and knew I had to stop there. I was not disappointed. Two stories of brightly lit shelves easily marked to help you find choices that are very reasonably priced and all the books appear to be in VeryGood+ condition or better. There is a wide range of fiction and non-fiction to choose. They even have musical instruments in addition to video games, vinyl records, CDs and movies. I could spend rainy days here, cold days, too hot days...
  • Homeschool heaven. One huge wall devoted to curriculum, Christian and secular. Books on the other shelves cover every conceivable topic. Mama, dvds, board games, musical instruments also. Good trade in rates. Clean bathrooms and a couple of food trucks in the parking lot make your book hunt more pleasant.
  • One of my favorite stores. If I want to buy movies or miscalleneous electronics I only buy here. The only fault I have with McKay is that they don;t give you a very large amount of money for used items sold to them.
  • I found the complete series of Scott Pilgrim for super cheap. Amazing records. Great book and comic book sekections. There is a free section outside. Love it.
  • I love McKay's! I normally bring a few things to trade in and I'm never disappointed with the amount store credit I get. I could spend an entire day cruising through all of the different sections: video games, movies, TV series, CDs and vinyl records, comics and of course the books. There is an impressive array of books, and I see different items every time I go! I never walk out of McKay's empty-handed, and never ever disappointed.
