  • I thought I had seen it all....NOPE. This store is the granddaddy of stores. The selection is sick and extensive. Absolutely no way u can go through everything. I would suggest set a timer for no more...  read more »
  • It really is a delight to come into McKay's and shop around for books, movies and assorted other items. Why? Selection AND price. Tip: go at off times to avoid the crowds. I came in around 4:20pm and ...  read more »
  • A good place to take used books for credit and find newer adventures! A great children's section fir tour of you with children or grandchildren.
  • Every book lover dream!!! They have an amazing book selection and are very organized. They also have large amounts of music, electronics, and toys. You can literally spend hours in here and not notice it. Sundays are usually crowded, but try going during the week. You can take your time and really browse the books without feeling rushed.
  • Amazing selection, some prices are better than amazon by far, large free section outside as well. Staff is super friendly and it's my favorite luxury shopping trip each week. I don't know what I ever did before finding this place tbh.
  • I love McKay's! I normally bring a few things to trade in and I'm never disappointed with the amount store credit I get. I could spend an entire day cruising through all of the different sections: video games, movies, TV series, CDs and vinyl records, comics and of course the books. There is an impressive array of books, and I see different items every time I go! I never walk out of McKay's empty-handed, and never ever disappointed.
  • At one time it was great. Now over half the staff are unhelpful at best, and rude at worst. Also their prices have gotten ridiculous. They charge more for a used item than other stores charge for them new. I love the store and wish it would return to its former business practices of fair pricing
  • Best used book music and video store. Beautifully organized. Ask about the discount books. There is a special section where popular paperbacks can be $.05-$1. Free books are in bins outside front door. The staff is very helpful if you just ask them when not busy
