  • We had "The Teacher" as our tour guide, and I thoroughly enjoyed her knowledge and love of the place. We are all so fortunate that groups of people get together to save these pieces of our history.
  • Ethel was the absolute best tour guide I have ever met anywhere! She was very knowledgeable and answered everyone's questions. We never felt rushed. We were allowed to actually enter most of the rooms...  read more »
  • Both the house and grounds were fantastic. You start in the museum with a video and artifacts which gives you an idea how the plantation came to be and what happened to it during the war. The house if full of furnishings of the time. The slave cabins go into how the slaves lived and worked on the plantation.
  • We had a great time on the tour today. Great place for a history lesson on the Battle of Nashville. When you go ask for Kelly, she is a great tour guide.
  • wonderful historic preservation of place, and period attitudes.
  • The tour guide ( Brian ) is full of knowledge.
  • Wonder how certain people would be treated here....
