  • A bit pricey but a great venue to visit. Take the boat tour, walk the streets, shop & eat & drink. Live shows often presented for free in the courtyard.  more »
  • This place is beautifully maintained, luxurious, lush, and truly grand. I love going because it sums up the Nashville 'feel' for me. It is a great place to hit if you visit Tennessee.  more »
  • Visiting the hotel has become a family tradition for us at Christmas. We love to see the lights, take the indoir boat ride to see all the decirations, eat some ice cream, and get photos with Santa. We...  more »

  • A great place to visit, even if you aren't staying here (though surprisingly I've heard the lodging is affordable). Huge. Gardens. Trees. Rivers. 5+ separate restaurants located INSIDE the resort. All of this is Entirely indoors. And guess what? If you spend your admission price at one of the restaurants, you get your admission price REFUNDED. Just for buying awesome food. A great place to spend several hours walking and taking pictures, and then to choose a restaurant and sit down to a gourmet meal for $25 less than it normally would've cost. A MUST SEE in Nashville.
  • Insanely large, intricate, and complex, but after a bit of exploring you know your way around. Room very comfortable. Housekeeping staff the friendliest I've seen, very anxious to help and they even follow up to assure needs were met. I checked in amidst a kids chess tourney and registration was slammed, but staff still very polite. Was given a handicapped room, which they probably should have told me at registration, but it was fine. Rooms have fridges but no microwave. Cheap coffee makers but they do the job... Easy to burn fingers on, though. This place has restaurants and gift shops everywhere and the decor/landscaping is stunning. Fitness center is excellent, as are the multiple heated pools. Heaven for the kids. Try to stay on Delta Concourse if you're attending a conference, or Garden or Cascade Sections if you plan to use the pool or fitness center a lot. There's a mall just a seven minute walk away with a Subway and a Dave & Buster's, etc., So you have options rather than the hotel restaurants. Take instant coffee so you can make extras.
  • The Gaylord Opryland is a very fun destination with absolutely beautiful gardens inside the hotel. There are numerous food options and areas to explore and shops and other things to do including pools and games and the nearby mall and movie theater. The downside of the area is that it is somewhat distant from most of the other attractions of Nashville and the area is poorly organized for traffic flow into and out of the mall and hotel. Otherwise this is a great location to stay as a hotel or to visit for a walk through their gardens. It's a very fun and unique experience!
  • I recently stayed at this resort and it is very nice. The atrium gardens are beautiful. You can walk around inside for a long time looking at plants and waterfalls and a "river". The rooms are clean. I'm not a big fan of the recent decorating trend of modern or sleek. I'll be happier when the trend shifts back to warm, cozy. But that's just personal preference. I suppose some people like "hospital chic". There are plenty of dining options. There are 3 pools. The Irish pub is a fun evening option. Really the only downside here (and resorts in general) is that you can't just walk out the door to other entertainment options. There's nothing nearby.
  • This is not only one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever seen, but also one of the most beautiful PLACES I have ever seen. I would absolutely recommend anybody to bring their friends, family, or significant other to visit. This would be a great place to have your wedding/honeymoon. A true gem of Nashville and a 100% must-see attraction!!! They also have great food and you're able able to drink alcoholic beverages anywhere in the hotel! The selection of alcohol is endless! They have many shops that you can buy all kinds of things from, and the best part about it all is that YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE TO BE A GUEST! There is no entry fee either! WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?!?!?!? GO SEE THIS PLACE!!!
