Where to stay in Nashville

Stay in downtown, midtown, the west end, or near Vanderbilt to be at the center of it all in Nashville. You'll find plenty of boutique hotels and major chains in all of these areas, which give you great access to the downtown music scene and beyond. While you can find a bit of everything in downtown Nashville, from larger hotels to apartment rentals, keep in mind that more affordable, and often quainter, options are located further from Broadway. Travelers looking to spend most of their time at the Grand Ole Opry should consider accommodations in the Opryland or Music Valley area near the airport.

  • A beautiful park with lots to do. I enjoy hiking the trails, but they also have a nice nature center and great fields to just play with the kids. We had lunch in a new picnic area with a cedar gazebo and picnic table.
  • One of my favorite places for hiking. There's so many trails to select from whether you just want to take a walk in the park or get a sweat going. Advice, bring mosquito spray.
  • Great place for a hike, road biking, mountain biking, or horse back riding. There are many trail heads with parking. I would advise that you have a phone with the google maps on it or stop by the nature center if you are unfamiliar with the trails. It a big place and I've helped a couple of people get back to the trail head where they parked their car. Very pretty scenery and well groomed trails!
  • Awesome park in the Nashville area. It's wonderful - many trails to explore. My dog and I love it.
  • Loved these trails when I lived in Nashville. Second to none. Can't wait to vacation and go on them again!
