  • Facilities are a bit antiquated in the park, but you can't beat the views and the hikes. Interpretive center was old, but interpretation was well-done and interesting. Nice day at Brown County!
  • You are able to drive around most of the park to get to the trailheads or some great vistas. There are a couple of watchtowers but we found the normal vistas better in most cases. There is also a fire...  read more »
  • Leaves just beginning to turn colors. Nice park roads. Walked around a lake. Nature center nice for kids. Need trash cans in more places. Could spend a week here and find a lot of peace.
  • Had a great run here on trail 8 this past Saturday. The map provided when you enter the park is very helpful for determining where to park and which trail to try out. The trail was well maintained and not too heavily trafficked. I recommend this trail for a good calf work out (there are stairs!)
  • The nature center was under construction but still open. The staff were friendly and the park is huge. There's a hotel, campsites, and cabins available. The trail we walked was clean from debris and hazards.
  • This is another one of Indiana's great State Parks. There are many miles of trails to explore, and plenty of scenic overlooks to stop at as you're driving through. It really lives up to its nickname of "The Little Smokies". The mountainous terrain and beautiful views definitely remind me of the Smokie Mountains.
  • Beautiful state park in the hills of southern Indiana. Plenty of hiking trails and one of the best places in Indiana for mountain biking trails. Visit in the fall for the beautiful leaves, but be forewarned, the place will be packed with people.
  • used to love this place and if I truly loved nature maybe still would. The insects and weeds dominate the trails. And they don't do much to curb their rattlesnake population. Wilderness rules
