  • We came after 3pm and purchased only the planetarium show. It was a Saturday and we were greeted with loads of screaming children. The sound was echoing out of the door. It's the weekend so that's wha...  more »
  • We loved visiting here! This is great for young kids. Wish that the hands on exhibits were in better shape, many were broken likely from excessive use, but that's part of a kid's museum.  more »
  • The exhibits were pretty good, and my daughter was engaged for about an hour or so. We saw Nightwatch in the Planetarium, and it was AMAZING. My 5 year old daughter was entranced by it and asked some ...  more »

  • This is a great family destination! It has both permanent and rotating exhibits, best suited to ages 4+, but there are a few activities for the littler ones too. There's a SUBWAY restaurant in it. The Planetarium shows all kinds of productions, but not always actual star shows. Look at their website to see what is showing currently. It's a little loud if you visit when a school visit is occurring. There is a GIANT climbing activity for kids to enjoy. Sometimes it's difficult to keep track of your children on all of those levels, but we still enjoy it.
  • I love this place! It is a great rainy day place to take kids and let them play and learn. The membership is very affordable and they bring in new exhibits all the time. They have exhibits that work for different ages which makes bring a family very easy. We are happy Nashville has this kind of attraction for folks with curious young ones.
  • This place is awesome. Tons of great stuff for kids but also very enjoyable for adults, especially during the adult-oriented events. The guy who narrates the planetarium shows does a truly amazing job - every show I've been to has been excellent. He is entertaining and has a very good tempo. He brings the production quality of the shows to a very professional level - reminds me a bit of Guy Raz on NPR. A note to the staff - please continue doing the Romance in the Stars show every year! We went last year and this year, and enjoyed them both very much. This year was even better than the first one!
  • I loved the planetarium. The rest of the museum is very interesting. My son enjoyed the interactivity with the exhibits. There is some really cool stuff here. Sometimes it felt a little overwhelming with kids just running and going everywhere. We visited on a snow day so staff may have been light. We will defiantly return, however probably only for planetarium experiences. I do recommend for families and kiddos.
  • My five year old lives it here. They have a tower that runs through all the floors and that is where he wants to stay. I do not like how they don't allow food or drinks on the floors. That makes keeping a toddler happy while the older brother explores difficult. They do have a Subway on site but you can't take the drinks out. They have recently added a toddler section which is great, but it is not that large.
