  • Park is very big and pretty but the folks that hang around the park are sketchy! The park is also not clean - has a lot of druggies hanging around. Idk not my kind of place to bring my dog for a walk ...  more »
  • The trails throughout this park are beautiful! It is right by the YMCA so you can park your car there and go for a run. I've seen people kayak on the river through the park. The trail I ran was about ...  more »
  • Splendid walking trails; one of North America's longest surviving power canals feeding the downtown mills; great Gate House at Mine Falls Dam; lots of access points and parking

  • There were kids, walkers, joggers, bicyclists, babies in strollers, and dogs on leashes. Everyone was happy and welcoming to one another. There were kids of all ages playing soccer in the fields and enjoying themselves immensely. The baseball field was fully available for use. Most wonderful though, was how clean the fields were! There were no visible people who worked / keep up on the park there that we saw, but the fields were remarkably clean and the grass was well trimmed. Trails were mostly free of debris other than mulch that has been pushed along the trails here and there (from kids running, animals, nature, bicyclists, etc) Trails were all clear of anything hazardous such as branches or anything that could cause harm. There are many places to sit (I.E. benches and picnic tables) Through out the park. Every place to rest is very well kept with fresh Mulch and wood. My family and myself cannot wait to go back so we can explore this park some more! Still so much for us to see! I would suggest bringing bug spray, and even though there are many trees for shade, bring sun screen. Also, always check for ticks before you depart! We will be returning very soon! We plan on getting there earlier next time so we can enjoy more of the park!
  • Absolutely beautiful park and HUGE! Miles and miles of trails along old canals and through the woods. Several dams as well. Plenty of wildlife including a red tailed hawk and muskrat as well as an abundance of song birds and turtles.
  • Excellent for an easy, but not boring hike for as long as you like. Plenty of side trails both flat and pleasantly rolling, and there was a robust diversity of symbiotic mushrooms bursting through at every corner of the park when we went in October.
  • So many trails and so little time. They have various lengths and difficulties in a huge trail system that is easy to get to, right off of route 3 in Nashua, can even go to a few nice stores or a good restaurant after.
  • Fall colors are great. Wide range of tree types with lots of colorful maples.
